Men’s group meeting replays
Meeting #12 Feb 22, 2024
This week we look at confidence - why it’s important for men to have, what lack of confidence looks like, and also ways to increase it. And of course some powerful and wonderful shares from the men regarding confidence in their lives, and where they want to build it. And we got a GREAT question about a situation that had everyone kinda scratching their heads to answer lol.
Meeting #11 Feb 8, 2024
This week we dove into the divine and wounded masculine and feminine energies and how they show up in everyone. We discussed how it has shown up in our lives as men, and where we feel we can improve. Some great shares as always, and the link to the document I shared can be found HERE.
Meeting #10 Feb 1, 2024
This week we had a small but mighty group, and I changed it up a bit by asking for feedback from the men about the group so far. We had a lot of great ideas and wonderful feedback, so for that I am deeply grateful. Then we launched into talking about moving into the pain - what are we avoiding in our lives that can help us grow? What are we holding off on doing that will help us in the end? Some fabulous shares came from that prompt.
Meeting #9 Jan 25, 2024
This week we stepped into the space of Mastery - what is it and why is it iimportant for me to understand? We tap into what it means to us all, and how we’re looking to step into the “second mountain” of our lives. We looked at how no longer having a title or label can change how we see ourselves, and what we do when we feel we’re inbetween stage in life.
Meeting #8 Jan 18, 2024
This week we look at stereotypes - not only for men in general, but also racial, political, and other types. How are we releasing them? How are shedding programming from our dads and other men and society in general? What are we modeling for our children? As usual, some powerful shares on what it means to step into your own power and way of being.
Meeting #7 Jan 11, 2024
This week we discussed a very important topic - anger. What it is, how it’s a secondary emotion, the way it shows up, how it’s perceived when men get angry, and three questions to ask yourself when you feel you’re having a $5 reaction to a 5-cent problem. Lots of great and vulnerable shares too.
Meeting #6 Jan 4, 2024
We piggy back a bit off the goals session, talking about planning, and how it shows up in your work and personal lives. What benefits are there in planning ahead? What does it do to slow you down? Great shares and a WEALTH of information in the chat too!
Meeting #5 Dec 28, 2023
Last meeting of 2023! We welcomed a few more wonderful men to the group, and in this 90-miute meeting, we talked at length about goal setting, phases of change, vision boards, accountability, leadership, and more. Lots of practical, actionable information in this session, so I invite you to check it out! Happy New year to you and those you care about!
Meeting #4 Dec 21, 2023
In this meeting, we talk about ceremony and ritual, namely that of boy to man. But the discussion shifted into any kind of transition in our lives. Or as Hearon called it - “passing through doors”. Some touching stories were shared, and looked back at the landmarks in our lives as we stepped more into manhood.
Meeting #3 Dec 14, 2023
In this meeting, we talk about the power of saying “NO” and how that empowers us as men and builds trust within ourselves and others. We dive into what makes us want to say “YES” to everyone and the consequences of doing so. We also talk a bit about how over-explaining and over-apologizing weakens us and dilutes our message.
Meeting #2 Dec 7, 2023
We discuss the power of being your word - doing what you say you’ll do, when you said you’ll do it. This ties into committments and showing up to them in your best way. This includes showing up to YOURSELF in the same way. It’s often the promises and committments we make to ourselves which fall of the map first. We look at the importance of being your word, of sticking to things.
Meeting #1 Nov 30, 2023
Our inaugural meeting! We simple ask the question “what brought you here?” and let the men share what it is that pulled them towards the men’s group. Many shared their main struggles, their issues, and other things which have been challenging them. We learn a bit of everyone’s story and we also decide to start a WhatsApp group.
